Chapter Membership Offer

The Committee, in looking forward to the rest of the year and indeed to next year, are very committed to boosting Membership numbers as much as possible, increasing participation amongst Members in the Chapter and supporting our Sponsoring Dealer , Waterford Harley-Davidson.

With that in mind it has been decided to offer all Members, new Members and previous Members who are not currently active in the Chapter, the following:-
Spend €200 between now and the 31st December 2010 at Waterford Harley-Davidson and the Chapter will renew your Chapter Membership €35 for 2011 free of charge subject to provision of receipts at the AGM
The spend of €200 is all inclusive and can include bike servicing, parts and apparel at Waterford Harley-Davidson . The offer is extended to include family/household Membership of the Chapter and provision of receipts at the AGM is without exception.

This offer represents a 17.5% in-store discount in our shop. Membership Forms are also available in Waterford Harley-Davidson.

Monster sale and stunning scenery mark annual open day

It’s a case of beauty and the beast at a local motorcycle dealership next month when the Ozier Park Harley-Davidson dealership combines a ride-out with beautiful scenery and a monster sale for its annual open day. Waterford Harley-Davidson is inviting Irish motorcycle enthusiasts to the showroom on Saturday 11 September to take advantage of the price cuts before joining in the journey along the stunning Waterford coastline.

Visitors to the event will be wowed by the hugely discounted 2010 motorcycles in store. The discounts have been applied to various models throughout the five Harley-Davidson families to ensure that there will be a motorcycle available to suit every visitor.

Light refreshments will be available at the dealership before the ride-out departs the showroom at 2.30pm and Waterford Harley-Davidson is encouraging all riders to take part – no matter what manufacturer’s machine they ride. The journey will end at the Haven Hotel in Dunmore East where riders will be entertained by local Waterford band The Unusual Suspects.

Guests will also be able to ask the Harley-Davidson team for details on the newest Sportster® model launched last month. The New Superlow™, which is due to arrive in the Waterford showroom in late September, reintroduces the pure pleasure of motorcycling with balanced and responsive handling to help the rider and machine glide through corners with confidence. Comfort is a key aspect of the SuperLow™ experience with its low seat height and the broad V-Twin powerband and clean styling complete an appealing package.

“We really enjoy this time of the year and love taking everyone on a ride around the beautiful scenery of Waterford,” says Dealer Principal Lenny Burns. “We hope to encourage motorcycle enthusiasts from across the county to come and visit us, and hope that those looking for a new motorcycle take advance of the massive 2010 savings.”

On 17 March, the Waterford Harley-Davidson® dealership will defy the St. Patrick’s Day green tradition with a special pink theme. Custom-made Waterford Harley-Davidson T-shirts in shocking pink will be worn by visitors and members of the Celtic Thunder Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.®) at the Waterford City Parade.

The T-shirts are available to buy at a special ‘pink’ launch event at the Waterford Harley-Davidson showroom on 16 March. From 6-8pm, visitors will be able to view the collection of new and used Harley-Davidson® motorcycles on display, including the stunning 2010 models, purchase a limited edition T-shirt and take advantage of the free refreshments on offer. Proceeds raised from the sale of the T-shirts will go to the breast cancer charity.

Waterford Harley-Davidson Dealer Principal Lenny Burns says, “This St. Patrick’s Day, never mind your green, why not show your support for Breast Cancer Research in pink?! After our official opening, we’ll all be taking part in the Waterford City Parade in our pink T-shirts, why not join in the fun too?

But thats just how dedicated they are to this very worthy cause!

Spring Check Up

Now that the evenings are getting longer and the roads are safer it's time to dust off your bike and get back out there. We are offering a free 20minute check up from the 20th Feb. Our technicians will give your bike a full check up to ensure it's in good running order for the fast approaching riding season. Jeans

As many of you have probably realised Harley-Davidson have never really made jeans for our market, they were traditionally very American in their style.....

NOT ANY MORE

Harley have released 2 new designs with 3 different colour options for men and 3 new designs for women ...... and i have to say they have done themselves proud!

The men's jeans are now all under €50, and don't come all the way up to your ears when you put them on.

As for the ladies, boot cut and low rise waists.... absolutely perfect fit and beautiful washed colours.

These jeans have been ordered and are on the way !!! As soon as they get here, they will be available to purchase online, so watch this space!

Check out the new" Sportster Forty-Eight" named due to it's peanut gas tank which originated in 1948. This 1200cc bike is a real icon with it's sleek lines, lowered suspension, fat front end and chopped front fender. Other features include a slammed speedo and under mount mirrors.
